It's a Rolling Stone :)

Today we looked at specific music magazines (Rolling Stone) and discovered some of the conventions of music magazines. We compared a Rolling Stone from the 80's with a current edition. We found that generally the main feature, layout and tone ect. had stayed the same. Changes, however, included the size (they are now smaller), the quality of print (thay used to be printed on paper, they now use a glossy effect) - these changes show use how audience expectations have changed.
We will have to address these factors when making a music magazine of our own.
